The Kelly Clarkson Show NBC, Week of January 27

The Kelly Clarkson Show Key Art

So, another week, another batch of Kellyoke covers. Is anyone keeping track of how many songs Kelly Clarkson has belted out on this show? It’s gotta be enough for a decent-sized compilation album, or at least a very long playlist. This week, she tackles everything from “Better Be Tough” to “A Lot More Free,” proving once again her vocal range is wider than the Texas plains.

Kicking off the week is “Outlander” star Sam Heughan, because apparently even time travelers need to promote their projects. He’s joined by Julia Michaels and Charles Esten, and there’s something called a “Junior Innovator Challenge winner.” Look, I’m not sure what that is, but I’m hoping it involves a baking soda volcano or a miniature robot that can fetch snacks.

Tuesday brings us Jenna Bush Hager and Anna Cathcart. Bargains and deals will be had with Lawrence Zarian and MorningSave, offering the thrill of potential savings and the mild disappointment of probably not needing anything they’re selling. There’s also a segment about a husband struggling to fold clothes. Look, as someone who considers matching socks a major laundry victory, I can relate.

Wednesday sees Sterling K. Brown and Carrie Preston grace the stage. No other details are given, which either means it’s a top-secret surprise or someone forgot to write the rest of the blurb. Intrigue! (Or mild administrative oversight.)

Thursday: Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon team up, presumably to promote something, but possibly just to engage in some delightful banter. They’re joined by Meredith Hagner and Geraldine Viswanathan, adding to the comedic potential of the day.

Finally, Friday closes out the week with Teddy Swims chatting and performing. Jessica Seinfeld also stops by, because someone needs to represent the cookbook-writing, lifestyle-curating contingent. And rounding out the week are segments on the NYC Salt Photography Program and Crust Fund Pizza. Art and carbs – truly, a balanced diet.

Tune in to The Kelly Clarkson Show weekdays on NBC.
