Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings has responded to fan requests for him to join the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars.

Jennings, currently hosting his second quiz show season, turned to social media on Thursday, May 30, to address curious fans. In a video shared on the official Jeopardy! Instagram page, Jennings playfully dismissed the idea of appearing on Dancing With the Stars, assuring audiences: “No one in America wants to see me on Dancing With the Stars, believe me. I’ll spare us all that embarrassment.”

Contrarily, fans eagerly flooded the comments, passionately requesting Jennings’ participation and even suggesting an “official campaign or petition” to make it happen.

Despite the overwhelming support, Jennings remained unconvinced, humorously adding that growing a 1970s-style mustache would be a less undesirable option.

Jennings first captured the nation’s attention as a remarkably successful Jeopardy! contestant before transitioning into the role of host. He has skillfully stepped into the late Alex Trebek’s shoes, earning an Emmy nomination for his hosting talent.
