Grab your Aperol spritz and settle in, because “I Kissed a Boy” is back for a second season of sun-drenched romance. Premiering this Sunday on BBC Three, the UK’s first gay dating show returns with a new location, a new twist, and, of course, a fresh batch of eligible bachelors looking for love.
Ten single lads arrive at a luxurious Italian masseria, ready to find their perfect match. But before any introductions, they’ll follow the show’s unique format: an initial kiss. Pop icon Dannii Minogue returns as the show’s host and resident Cupid, overseeing the first encounters and offering guidance – or perhaps just a bit of mischievous encouragement – as the connections (and the drama) begin to play out.
This season, things get even spicier with the addition of a “Secret Garden.” This secluded spot offers contestants a chance to explore connections beyond their initial pairing, opening the door for secret rendezvous and potentially shifting alliances. As if that weren’t enough to stir the pot, a new heartthrob will be introduced to the mix, giving some of the boys an extra incentive to re-evaluate their options.
The season kicks off with a “Big Gay Gala,” which provides a look at the personalities and potential pairings at play before the real games begin. Expect fireworks, tears, and plenty of lip-locking as these ten men search for love under the Italian sun. Tune in to BBC Three this Sunday, 11 May at 9:00 PM GMT for the premiere.
