Gordon Ramsay’s back, and this time, he’s wrangling a grumpy publican in Texas. “Grumpy George,” as the episode is so aptly titled, seems like the perfect setup for Ramsay’s signature blend of culinary tough love and theatrical outbursts. This week, he visits a struggling English pub in Georgetown, a town clearly in need of a decent pint and a good bollocking.
The pub, we’re told, suffers from a serious identity crisis. Not quite English, not quite Texan, just… confused. It’s up to Ramsay to give the owners a much-needed kick in the pants, revamp the menu, and hopefully, inject some much-needed cheer into the establishment.
Frankly, the real mystery isn’t whether Ramsay can fix the food; it’s whether he can crack the cranky owner’s hardened exterior.
