“Krapopolis,” Dan Harmon’s animated foray into the dysfunctional world of mythical Ancient Greece, returns this Sunday with “Love Trap, Baby!” – and as usual, things are about to get weird. This week, a mysterious princess throws a dating competition into the mix, attracting the attention of none other than Stupe and Ty. Hippo, however, senses a trap. (Because of course he does).
Meanwhile, back in Krapopolis, Shlub and Deliria accidentally manage to improve the city while Ty is away, which, in this particular city, is usually a bad thing. It’s a testament to the show’s twisted logic that making things better is considered a disaster.
With a voice cast that includes Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy, and Duncan Trussell, “Krapopolis” consistently delivers witty dialogue and wonderfully absurd situations.
