Love is in the air – and so is a healthy dose of dysfunction – in this Sunday’s episode of Dan Harmon’s animated comedy “Krapopolis.” “Love Week” descends upon ancient Greece, but don’t expect a Valentine’s Day card kind of romance. Instead, prepare for a messy mix of infatuation, rivalry, and possibly a few drunken brawls.
Ty gets a second chance with Tina, while Hippo and Stupe somehow manage to let love drive a wedge between them, further cementing the notion that any hint of harmony in “Krapopolis” is always temporary. Even Shlub seems to have found a new love interest – that being the unlikely pursuit of victory.
With its ensemble voice cast – Hannah Waddingham, Richard Ayoade, Matt Berry, Pam Murphy, and Duncan Trussell – “Krapopolis” takes familiar sitcom tropes and reimagines them through the lens of a flawed family of humans, gods, and monsters. “Krapopolis: Love Week” airs Sunday, May 4 at 9:00 PM ET on FOX.
