Things are about to get steamy in Krapopolis. This Sunday’s episode, “The Weather Stick,” finds the mythical ancient Greek city in the midst of a scorching heatwave, a crisis that, naturally, leads to all sorts of chaotic and hilarious consequences.
When Shlub attempts to share a cooling trick with the ever-impatient Tyrannis, he quickly discovers that teaching restraint to a king is no easy feat. Meanwhile, Deliria’s temple is suddenly the hottest spot in town—not just spiritually, but literally. As citizens seek refuge from the sweltering temperatures, the temple transforms into an unlikely singles mixer, with soldiers and worshippers looking for a little divine intervention of the romantic kind.
With its signature blend of absurdist humor and sly societal commentary, “The Weather Stick” looks set to deliver another dose of animated mayhem. The voice cast, as always, is top-notch, featuring Richard Ayoade as Tyrannis, Matt Berry as Shlub, Pam Murphy as Stupendous, Duncan Trussell as Hippocampus, and the incomparable Hannah Waddingham as Deliria.
“The Weather Stick” (KRA-315) airs Sunday, March 23rd at 9:30 PM EST on FOX. The episode carries a TV-14 rating for suggestive dialogue, language, and violence. Audio descriptions are available on the SAP Audio Channel.
