The iconic Last Night of the Proms takes place tonight on BBC Two, with a two-part celebration starting at 7:05 pm. Katie Derham presents live coverage of the final concert of this year’s Proms, broadcast live from the Royal Albert Hall. The concert features performances by American soprano Angel Blue and pianist Stephen Hough, alongside the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Chorus, and BBC Singers.
In the first part of the evening, beginning at 7:05 pm, the programme includes pieces by Walton, Puccini, Carlos Simon, Fauré, Ives, and Coleridge-Taylor. Then, in the second part, starting at 9:00 pm, Angel Blue and Stephen Hough take centre stage once more to delight audiences with their exceptional musical talents.
