It’s Thanksgiving week on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and while the too much turkey-induced haze might suggest otherwise, the guest lineup isn’t sleepwalking through the holiday. From comedic heavyweights to dramatic powerhouses, Meyers’ couch is expected to host an eclectic mix.
The week kicks off with familiar faces. Jim Gaffigan, always good for a chuckle about Hot Pockets or the perils of parenthood, is on tap to promote his new Hulu special “The Skinny”. Allison Tolman, a consistently engaging presence, will discuss her new medical comedy St. Denis Medical.
Tuesday sees Kaley Cuoco in the house to talk season 2 of Peacock comedy crime thriller “Based on a True Story”, offering a potential dose of Hollywood insider chatter. Ryan Clark of Inside the NFL will presumably provide football analysis, and Percival Everett will represent the literary world with his novel James.
Wednesday’s mix features Jennifer Hudson, pulling double duty promoting both The Jennifer Hudson Show and her upcoming holiday special, The Gift of Love. British comedian James Acaster will undoubtedly inject some dry wit into the proceedings. And because no Thanksgiving week is complete without a culinary touch, Chef Michael Narciso will be on hand to discuss, well, food.
Thursday, bless its heart, is all about family. The Meyers clan will gather, likely for a heartwarming (or, knowing families, slightly awkward) holiday segment. Expect reminiscing, gentle ribbing, and perhaps a few revelations that will have everyone saying, “I never knew that about Uncle Steve!” Finally, rounding out the week is a mix of powerhouse talent. Cynthia Erivo will discuss her role in Wicked, and the always-entertaining Brett Goldstein of Ted Lasso and Shrinking fame will bring his particular brand of humor and insight.
Late Night with Seth Meyers airs weeknights at 12:35 am ET on NBC.
