Let’s dissect the upcoming week of Late Night with Seth Meyers, shall we? It’s a mixed bag, folks, a veritable potpourri of personalities, from Emmy-winning actors to political heavyweights and a baseball phenom thrown in for good measure.
Starting us off on Monday is Sterling K. Brown, promoting his new project called Paradise. Brown is always a good interview. Lisa Ann Walter from Abbott Elementary also joins the fun.
Tuesday brings Alan Cumming, star of Peacock’s reality show The Traitors. Then we’ve got Paul Skenes, the freshly minted National League Rookie of the Year. Will Meyers ask him hard-hitting questions about the state of the game? Or will it devolve into a discussion about Skenes’ favorite brand of chewing gum? Only time will tell, I suppose. Rounding out Tuesday’s eclectic mix is Emilio Vitolo of Emilio’s Ballato.
Wednesday offers something a bit more substantial with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, promoting her book, True Gretch: Young Adult Edition.
Finally, Thursday delivers the consistently amusing Will Forte, ostensibly plugging his new project, Kinda Pregnant, a title that already raises several questions. Conner O’Malley, whose comedic style I can only describe as “chaotic energy,” joins Forte. Should be good for a few laughs. So there you have it.
Late Night with Seth Meyers airs weeknights at 12:35/11:35c on NBC.
