Jools Holland returns with another eclectic lineup of live music, headlined by a performance from Florence + The Machine. The band will perform tracks from their sixth studio album, Everybody Scream, including the title song. Jools will also chat with Florence Welch at the piano about a new instrument in her band, a glass armonica.
The studio also welcomes a special collaboration between New York musician Brian Jackson and south London soul singer Omar. They will perform their version of “The Bottle,” a classic 1974 track Jackson wrote with his late collaborator Gil Scott-Heron. Omar will also perform the title track from his own album, Brighter the Days.
Making their debut on the show are Cardiff five-piece band Panic Shack, who will bring their energetic punk sound with a performance of their song “Gok Wan”. From Iceland, world-renowned classical pianist Víkingur Ólafsson performs an Icelandic composition, “Ave María,” and joins Jools for a duet at the piano. Completing the bill is Londoner Baxter Dury, who will perform the title track from his ninth album, Allbarone.
Later… with Jools Holland airs Sunday 2 November, 2025 at 10:00 PM on BBC Two.
