Later… with Jools Holland is back this Sunday, 15 June, on BBC Two at 10:00 PM with its signature mix of musical heavy hitters and fresh faces. This week’s lineup is anchored by Isle of Wight indie darlings Wet Leg, returning to perform tracks from their sophomore effort, Moisturizer.
Also making a much-anticipated debut are LA cult favorites Sparks, showcasing songs from their mind-boggling 28th studio album, MAD!. The duo will also chat about their influences, likely delving into their decades-long fascination with French New Wave cinema.
Bringing some classical energy to the mix is Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi, who will perform “Pathos” and join Jools for an onstage improvised piano duet.
Plus rising stars Sasha Keable, Annahstasia, and Brooke Combe are also set to make their Later… debuts.
Holland, who’s been a champion of emerging talent for over three decades, continues to curate shows that mix the known and the new. This Sunday’s installment ticks all the right boxes: critical darlings, veteran mavericks, and the kind of eclectic setlist that’s kept the series on the air for—well, let’s just say a long time.
