Law & Order: Crossing Lines (NBC, Thursday, March 13, 2025)

Law & Order Key Art

This Thursday’s “Law & Order” trades the usual street-level crime for a foray into the world of political intrigue. When a rising political star turns up dead, Detectives Shaw and Riley find themselves sifting through a complicated web of secrets and hidden agendas. The victim’s private affairs become the hunting ground for clues, but every answer seems to lead to more questions.

Making the situation a little more complicated is DA Jack McCoy’s enforced recusal from the case, leaving his colleague, Price, to take charge. Why is Baxter stepping aside? Is it a personal connection to the deceased, a conflict of interest, or something more calculated? “Crossing Lines,” as the episode is aptly titled, suggests that some ethical boundaries might be blurred along the way. And with Price at the helm, the case could take some unexpected turns.
