It’s time to get kinetic on LEGO Masters. This Monday, the competition series is shaking things up—literally—with an episode that forces the teams to build creations that move. Airing at 8 PM ET on FOX, “Get in Gear” introduces a new set of rules that will test both the engineering prowess and storytelling chops of the remaining contestants.

The central task is straightforward enough on paper: build something that moves. Each team must choose a specific type of motion—a twist, a spin, a push, or a swing—and make it the centerpiece of their build. But here’s the rub: for the first time, the competition will be head-to-head. Instead of being judged against the entire field, each team will be pitted against just one other, making the margin for error razor-thin.

Host Will Arnett returns to preside over the brick-filled chaos, with Brickmasters Amy Corbett and Jamie Berard on hand to deliver the final verdict. The new format means that narrative and execution are equally important. It’s not enough to build something that works; the movement has to tell a story and outshine its direct competitor.

With an unlimited supply of bricks, the only real constraints are imagination and physics. For the teams hoping to stay in the running for the cash prize and the coveted title, “Get in Gear” is a high-stakes challenge that’s all about putting their builds in motion.
