Tonight, the hammers—or rather, the brick separators—come down on Lego Masters: Grand Masters of the Galaxy, as three international teams square off on Nine for the ultimate bragging rights and a cool $100,000. It’s a battle of the best, with finalists from Australia and Sweden vying for the top spot in what has been a truly global build-off.
The grand finale pits some familiar faces against a new challenger. Representing Australia are Henry and Cade, the triumphant duo from the inaugural season of Lego Masters Australia. They will face off against another Aussie pairing, Trent and Alex. Trent previously made it to the final in Season 2, while Alex was a runner-up in Season 4. Rounding out the elite trio are Vidar and Albin, hailing from Sweden, with Vidar himself a champion from Lego Masters Sweden Season 2.
Notably absent from this final showdown are Dai and Jiayuan, the Chinese team who were runners-up in Lego Masters China Season 2, eliminated just before the grand event.
Adding a dramatic twist to the final builds, last night’s episode saw host Hamish Blake deliver news to Cade that his wife, Melissa, had gone into labor. A tearful and swift exit from the set had Cade heading to the hospital as judging commenced. The tension was palpable, but good news arrived later: Cade and Melissa welcomed their first daughter, Lily, and he learned that he and Henry had won the Harry Potter-themed build, securing their spot in the finale.
Tonight marks the climax of this brick-filled competition, where precision, creativity, and sheer building grit will determine who walks away with the title.
