Notably absent from this final showdown are Dai and Jiayuan, the Chinese team who were runners-up in Lego Masters China Season 2, eliminated just before the grand event.
Adding a dramatic twist to the final builds, last night’s episode saw host Hamish Blake deliver news to Cade that his wife, Melissa, had gone into labor. A tearful and swift exit from the set had Cade heading to the hospital as judging commenced. The tension was palpable, but good news arrived later: Cade and Melissa welcomed their first daughter, Lily, and he learned that he and Henry had won the Harry Potter-themed build, securing their spot in the finale.
