The Australian teams, comprising of Lego enthusiasts from across the nation, are up against formidable opponents from Denmark, France, Germany, and the USA—all of whom have proven their mastery of the brick in their respective homelands.
For their first challenge, these eight teams will need to create Lego models that can withstand extreme conditions. Specifically, their task is to build models strong enough to break through a sheet of ice. This challenge will push the builders to think creatively about structural integrity and stability, ensuring their models can handle the pressure and break through with force.
The pressure is on as the teams dive into their first build, knowing that their journey towards becoming Lego Masters could end prematurely with a single mistake. With a life-changing prize of $100,000 on the line, the competition is fierce, and the builders will need to impress host Hamish Blake and judge Ryan “The Brickman” McNaught.
Lego Masters is an Australian reality TV show based on the original British series of the same name. The show has gained international recognition, with many countries adapting the format and airing their own versions. The Australian version has consistently delivered high-quality entertainment, winning a Realscreen award for Best Competition in 2020.
