Life After Lockup Returns August 1 with 90-Minute Episodes

Life After Lockup

Life After Lockup is back on We TV starting Friday, August 1, 2025, with new 90-minute episodes tracking the raw reality of life beyond prison walls. The extended episodes will also stream weekly on ALLBLK and AMC+.

This season follows seven couples from Love After Lockup and Love During Lockup, each dealing with the pressure of parole, addiction, and fractured trust. The format stays focused on the aftermath of incarceration and the emotional weight it places on both sides of the relationship.

Among the standout storylines, Brooke and JK in Texas face fresh strain after a visit from JK’s ex, Alex, and the appearance of a positive pregnancy test. In Portland, Courtnee remains behind bars while her husband Will, living in Sacramento, waits for compact approval to move forward with their marriage or end it for good.

Zeruiah and Troy are caught in unresolved family tensions. Troy’s trip to Buffalo to mend fences with his relatives and ex complicates things with Zeruiah. Meanwhile, Quiana is stuck in a spiral with Damodrick and Jawalia after discovering Damodrick’s cheating.

Bianca and Daniel confront the familiar. Daniel’s sobriety is slipping, and Bianca starts questioning if she’s lost herself by trying to fix him. Elsewhere, Justine and Michael, now with nine children between them, chase the dream of an extravagant Indian wedding. Budget constraints could make it a hard stop.
