Lifetime Thriller “You’re Not Supposed to Be Here” Starring Chrishell Stause & Diora Baird, Premieres November 4

Lifetime is set to premiere new thriller You’re Not Supposed to Be Here on November 4th. The movie stars Chrishell Stause and Diora Baird as a lesbian couple who embark on a babymoon to a remote mountain town. The film, developed from a concept by Lauren Caster, was the winning pitch from The WrapWomen and Lifetime PitchFest for Emerging Female Filmmakers in 2021. This project is part of Lifetime’s Broader Focus initiative, which aims to support female creatives in the industry.
The story revolves around Zoe and Kennedy, a pregnant lesbian couple dealing with the pressures of work and family life. In need of a break, Kennedy’s boss offers them a cabin getaway in a secluded mountain town.
However, upon arrival, they sense a tense atmosphere from the locals, who do not seem welcoming. Zoe becomes increasingly uncomfortable, wondering if their unwelcome attention is due to their same-sex relationship, while Kennedy dismisses it as pregnancy hormones.
As they try to relax, their peaceful retreat takes a dark turn. They soon realize they are unprepared for the horrors that await them, and the townspeople have a sinister agenda involving them.
The cast of You’re Not Supposed to Be Here also includes Curtis Hamilton, Heather Matarazzo, Devon Gummersall, Drew Powell, Jeante Godlock, and TikTok star Alejandro Ros.
