The upcoming reboot of Little House on the Prairie is starting to take shape, with Netflix, CBS Studios and Anonymous Content locking in a fresh wave of cast to join the previously announced Ingalls family.

Jocko Sims (New Amsterdam) steps into the role of Dr. George Tann, a respected physician and bridge-builder in the community. Warren Christie (The Resident, Alphas) will play John Edwards, a Civil War veteran with a rugged streak and magnetic pull, especially among the town’s single women.

Also joining the ensemble: Wren Zhawenim Gotts as Good Eagle, a young storyteller whose imagination sets her apart; Meegwun Fairbrother (Burden of Truth) as her father Mitchell, a successful farmer with a thriving Kansas homestead; and Alyssa Wapanatahk (Peter Pan & Wendy) as White Sun, Mitchell’s whip-smart wife with a biting sense of humor. Xander Cole has been cast as White Sun’s younger brother Little Puma, still searching for his footing.

Previously announced leads include Alice Halsey as Laura, Luke Bracey as Charles, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline, and Skywalker Hughes as Mary. The project aims to reimagine the beloved frontier saga for a modern audience while staying grounded in the emotional and historical scope of the original material.
