Is it really the holidays without an absurdly oversized, questionably tasteful, and aggressively festive sweater? Apparently not, if “LIVE with Kelly and Mark” has anything to say about it. The morning show is set to crank up the cheer with its Annual Holiday Sweater Party this Friday, December 20, and “Saturday Night Live” alum Heidi Gardner will be joining the merriment.
Gardner, known for her quirky characters and spot-on impressions, will be on hand to talk about her latest project, the HBO Max series “Second Chance Stage.” The show, which sounds like a slightly less dystopian “Squid Game” for aspiring entertainers, gives regular folks another shot at achieving their dreams of stardom.
But the sweater-centric festivities won’t be the only highlight of Friday’s “LIVE.” The episode will also feature the culmination of the show’s Holly Jolly Games, which promises to deliver the kind of festive chaos that only daytime television can provide.
“LIVE with Kelly and Mark” airs weekdays at 9:00 AM on ABC.
