LIVE with Kelly and Mark, airing on ABC on Thursday April 18, welcomes Jesse Tyler Ferguson, an award-winning actor known for his roles in “Modern Family” and “The Class,” and Corey Cott, a Broadway actor who has appeared in “Newsies” and “Bandstand.”
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a native of Missoula, Montana, rose to fame with his portrayal of Leaf Coneybear in the musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” He went on to star in the sitcom “The Class” and the comedy “Do Not Disturb.” Ferguson is also known for his role as Mitchell Pritchett in the hit series “Modern Family, for which he received five Emmy Award nominations.
Ferguson has been an advocate for marriage equality and co-founded “Tie The Knot, designing limited-edition bow ties to raise funds for LGBTQ+ rights organizations. He has been married to Justin Mikita since 2013, and the couple has a son together.
Corey Cott, an American actor and singer, began his career in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and made his Broadway debut in “Newsies”, replacing Jeremy Jordan. He has since appeared in “Bandstand” and “Gigi, and ventured into television with roles in “Law & Order” and “Filthy Rich.” Cott is married to Meghan Woollard, and the couple has three sons.
