On Thursday, September 5, LIVE with Kelly and Mark welcomes Carrie Coon, Daniel Dae Kim, Tamron Hall, and Lish Steiling.
Actress Carrie Coon will be discussing her latest film, His Three Daughters. The film, directed by Azazel Jacobs, premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF23). It follows the story of three sisters, played by Coon, Elizabeth Olsen, and Natasha Lyonne, who come together after their father’s health declines. Coon portrays Katie, the oldest sister, who is tense and stressed, trying to micromanage her family.
Actor Daniel Dae Kim will be promoting his Broadway show, Yellow Face. Kim, known for his roles in ABC’s Lost, CBS’s Hawaii Five-O, and Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, stars in this acclaimed farce written by Tony Award-winning playwright David Henry Hwang. Yellow Face is a comedy about identity, show business, and autobiography, directed by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman.
Tamron Hall, will be leading a cooking demo with Lish Steiling, an Emmy and James Beard Award-winning culinary producer. Steiling, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, has worked in the culinary arts and food service industries for over 25 years. She has been a food stylist and recipe developer for various publications and has co-authored a cookbook with Hall, titled A Confident Cook.
