On Monday, June 10, LIVE with Kelly and Mark welcomes George Stephanopoulos, a political news host, former advisor to President Clinton, and co-anchor of Good Morning America. He will discuss his book, “The Situation Room: The Inside Story of Presidents in Crisis,” which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the White House Situation Room, where twelve presidents have made critical decisions.
The book provides a unique perspective on the room’s creation under President Kennedy and its role in managing crises, from the Kennedy assassination to the 9/11 attacks.
The show will also feature Andrew McCarthy, an actor known for his roles in “Pretty in Pink” and “St. Elmo’s Fire.” McCarthy will discuss his upcoming Hulu documentary, “BRATS,” which explores the impact of the “Brat Pack” label on the young stars of the 1980s, including himself, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, and Emilio Estevez. “BRATS” will premiere on June 13, 2024.
