On Monday, June 3, 2024, ABC’s LIVE with Kelly and Mark welcomes Leslie Odom Jr., Eric Dane, and the Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion to the show.
Leslie Odom Jr., an American actor, singer, and songwriter, rose to prominence for his portrayal of Aaron Burr in the musical Hamilton, which earned him a Tony Award and a Grammy Award. He has since appeared in various television series and films, including Smash, Person of Interest, Red Tails, and Murder on the Orient Express. Odom has also lent his voice to animated series such as Central Park and The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. In addition to his acting career, Odom has released five albums and authored a book titled Failing Up.
Eric Dane, known for his roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Euphoria, joins the show to discuss his upcoming film Bad Boys: Ride or Die. Dane plays the villain in the latest installment of the Bad Boys franchise, which also stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The film is set to be released in theaters on June 7, 2024.
The show will also feature the Scripps National Spelling Bee Champion, 12-year-old Bruhat Soma from Florida. Soma won the 96th Scripps National Spelling Bee after an impressive performance in the competition’s second-ever spell-off, where he spelled 29 words correctly in 90 seconds.
