On Thursday, August 15, 2024, LIVE with Kelly and Mark welcomes actress Melissa McCarthy, actor Colman Domingo, and indie pop band AJR to the show.
Melissa McCarthy, an actress and producer known for her roles in Bridesmaids, The Heat, and Ghostbusters, joins the show to discuss her upcoming projects. McCarthy will star in the Netflix action thriller The Union, previously titled Our Man from Jersey, alongside Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry.
Colman Domingo, an Academy Award-nominated actor, writer, and producer, joins the show to discuss his upcoming projects. Domingo will star in the Netflix limited series The Madness, directed by Clement Virgo, and the Universal Pictures biopic Michael, directed by Antoine Fuqua. He will portray Joe Jackson in the latter.
AJR, an American indie pop band founded by brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met, joins the show to perform. As of 2024, the band has produced and released five studio albums on the independent label AJR Productions.
