On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, LIVE with Kelly and Mark will welcome Emmy-winning actor Michael Chiklis and actress Retta as their guests.
Michael Chiklis, known for his roles in The Shield and The Commish, will discuss his upcoming series Hotel Cocaine, an MGM+ crime thriller. Chiklis will portray Agent Zulio, who aims to put an end to the drug trade, even if it means using innocent civilians to achieve his goals.
The series is based on the story of Roman Compte, a Cuban expatriate who fought against Fidel Castro and rebuilt his life in Miami, becoming the general manager of the Mutiny Hotel, a hotspot for the Miami cocaine scene in the late ’70s and early ’80s.
Retta, known for her roles in Parks and Recreation and Good Girls, will join Chiklis on the show. She will discuss her role in the film Hit Man, a hilarious romantic comedy directed by Richard Linklater. Hit Man is based on a true story about a college professor who becomes a fake hitman for the police, and it features a stellar cast, including Glen Powell, Adria Arjona, and Sanjay Rao.
