Living Black Returns for 22nd Year, Highlighting First Nations Women

Living Black, Australia’s longest-running Indigenous current affairs program, begins its 22nd season on NITV and SBS On Demand on Monday, April 21st. Host Karla Grant will lead the series in exploring significant national issues and celebrating First Nations achievements.

Here’s the Lowdown: The new season premieres April 21st at 8:30 pm on NITV. It will feature interviews with prominent First Nations women, including tennis great Evonne Goolagong Cawley, NAIDOC award winner Dulcie Flower, and musician Simone Stacey. The program continues its investigative work, with a focus this season on youth incarceration in the Northern Territory.

What This Means Now: Viewers can expect in-depth reporting and inspiring stories told from a First Nations perspective.
