Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer, the seemingly tireless duo of “Location, Location, Location,” are back in Oxfordshire this week, facing a familiar foe: a pricey property market. The challenge? Finding suitable homes for two sets of buyers, each with their own particular set of needs.
Kirstie works with Lisa, a midwife originally from Oxfordshire, and her Kiwi husband Campbell, returning from New Zealand. They’re looking for a family home, but the sticker shock of Oxfordshire prices, combined with the significantly smaller properties compared to what they’re used to in New Zealand, creates immediate tension. Phil, meanwhile, tackles the contrasting desires of university professor Grant, originally from Canada, and his Indian-born wife Nisha. He craves the city buzz, she prefers the quiet charm of the Oxfordshire countryside. Can Phil find a compromise amongst his offerings – a city property, a rural one, and a fixer-upper?
Tune in to Channel 4 on Wednesday, May 28 at 8:00 PM to see if Kirstie and Phil can work their magic in one of Britain’s most competitive property markets.
