Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace returns this Wednesday, July 2, at 9:00 PM GMT on ITV1 with its third episode of the seventh season. The program continues its emotional search for answers for foundlings, those individuals abandoned as babies with no initial clues about their origins. This week, two powerful stories are presented, spanning decades.
The program follows Sarah, who was left in a Surrey car park stairwell in 2001. She is the youngest foundling ever to feature on the show. Her case, relatively recent, brings its own set of challenges for the search team. Also featured is Chris, a man abandoned at just three months old near London’s Kings Cross 62 years ago. He is still working to uncover his birth family’s identity and understand why no one ever came back for him.
Hosted by Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell, the series uses DNA technology and investigative work to help these individuals piece together their past. The program gives support as people try to unlock their histories.
