Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons, LOVE & DEATH is a seven-episode HBO Max Original limited series that premieres with three episodes on Thursday, April 27, and then airs one episode per week until May 25. The 2023 South by Southwest Film and Television Festival will feature episodes of the show.
Two churchgoing couples, Candy and Pat Montgomery and Betty and Allan Gore, are enjoying life in small-town Texas in this compelling drama written by David E. Kelley and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter. up until someone’s extramarital affair prompts them to resort to violence.

The limited series is inspired by the book “Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs” and a collection of articles from Texas Monthly (“Love & Death in Silicon Prairie,” Part I & II).
