VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Miami returns Monday with “Lovesick,” and if the title is any indication, somebody’s about to get their feelings hurt. This week, the simmering tensions from Trick Daddy’s recent health scare continue to ripple through the cast, creating an atmosphere as thick with drama as a Miami nightclub on a Saturday night.
First up, we have Amara and Marlon forging what could charitably be called an “unlikely alliance.” Given their respective histories on the show, this pairing has the potential to be either a beautiful friendship or a spectacular dumpster fire. One thing’s for sure: it won’t be boring.
Elsewhere in the 305, Shay Johnson takes on the role of amateur detective, digging into accusations leveled against Fabo. Whether these accusations hold water or evaporate like a spilled mojito in the Miami sun is anyone’s guess. Meanwhile, Angela’s loyalty faces a trial by fire at a party thrown by Derrick. Will she emerge unscathed, or will this soirée scorch her existing relationships?
But the real drama bomb appears to be ticking in Trina and Bobby’s relationship. Bobby’s accusations of infidelity threaten to detonate their partnership. It looks like this episode of LHH Miami will continue the grand reality show tradition, in all likelihood serving up emotional showdowns with the restraint and subtlety of a runaway yacht.
