Just when you thought the drama had subsided, “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” bursts back onto MTV, promising another season of relationship tangles and musical machinations. Premiering Tuesday, January 7, at 8 PM ET/PT, this go-round finds our cast facing the usual relationship hurdles, fresh rivalries, and the perpetual quest for chart-topping success.
Spice, still smarting from last season’s concert debacle, takes her act across the pond to London. Let’s see if a change of scenery can calm the storm. Meanwhile, Saucy Santana sets his sights on conquering the Atlanta music scene. Will his brand of bravado translate into hits, or will he get caught in the inevitable A-Town crossfire?
Relationship drama, the bread and butter of this franchise, is once again served up in heaping portions. Karlie Redd continues her campaign to lock down millionaire TLO, while Rasheeda and Kirk Frost wrestle with the Sisyphean task of maintaining a functional family. Scrappy, a connoisseur of complicated personal lives, finds himself embroiled in another crisis, this time featuring his omnipresent mother, Momma Dee.
Bambi, ever the pragmatist, attempts to forge a truce with Scrappy while facing her own loyalty tests. Elsewhere, Lil Zane and Ashley Conley’s marriage hangs by a thread, and Yandy and Mendeecees try to rebuild after last season’s bombshell allegations.
And just when you thought things couldn’t get any messier, Joc and Kendra’s marriage faces a trial by fire, fueled by Joc’s ever-simmering jealousy. Newcomers International Nova and his wife Cristina join the fray, guaranteeing an extra dose of unpredictable energy. The returning cast includes Amy Luciani, Ashley Conley, Bambi, Erica Banks, Erica Dixon, Jasmine Bleu, Jessica White, Karlie Redd, Kendra Robinson, Khaotic, Kirk Frost, Lil Zane, Mendeecees, Momma Dee, Rasheeda, Renni Rucci, Saucy Santana, Scrappy, Shekinah Jo, Sierra Gates, Spice, Yandy, Yung Joc, and ZellSwag.
“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” airs Tuesdays at 8 PM ET/PT on MTV. Previous seasons are available on Paramount+, MTV VOD, and Pluto TV.
