In the second episode of BBC One’s Ludwig, John (David Mitchell), still searching for his missing brother, makes a breakthrough discovery: a coded notebook. Intrigued, he decides to visit the police station to gather insights into his brother’s last case.
However, John’s innate curiosity soon pulls him away from this task, leading him to a grand manor house where a grisly crime scene piques his interest. What initially appears to be a missing person’s case takes a darker turn as John, with his puzzle-solving skills, uncovers something more sinister.
Meanwhile, John’s wife, Lucy (Anna Maxwell Martin), frustrated by her husband’s absence, takes matters into her own hands. She embarks on a fact-finding mission to the home of one of her husband’s ex-colleagues, determined to uncover her own truths.
