Luke Hemsworth is set to join the cast of Prime Video’s hit Australian comedy-thriller, Deadloch, for its second season. Hemsworth will play Jason Wade, a wildlife park owner and star of the in-universe show, “Jason Wade’s Adventures Down Under.”
Season 2 sees Dulcie and Eddie investigating a death in Darwin when they’re pulled into a new case in a remote town. The series, filmed in the Northern Territory and Queensland, continues to be spearheaded by creators Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan.
Hemsworth joins a returning cast that includes Kate Box, Madeleine Sami, Nina Oyama, and Alicia Gardiner, along with several newly announced actors, such as Steve Bisley and Shari Sebbens.
Deadloch Season 2 is produced by Guesswork Television, OK Great Productions and Amazon MGM Studios. McCartney and McLennan also serve as executive producers alongside Kevin Whyte and Tanya Phegan from Guesswork Television. Andy Walker produces, with Beck Cole and Gracie Otto directing.
