LUST, a Swedish Max original, will debut on HBO Max on March 18
On February 14, LUST had its global debut as part of the renowned Berlinale Series at the Berlin International Film Festival. The show will premiere on HBO Max on March 18th.
Lust is an explosive and brutally honest comedy series starring Sofia Helin, Anja Lundqvist, Julia Dufvenius, and Elin Klinga about four middle(ish) aged women in Stockholm striving to keep their libidos alive in a sexually unpleasant environment.
When public health researcher Anette (Sofia Helin) undertakes a study called “Sex is a Highway to Health,” she and her pals begin to examine their own sex habits. How has Thursday sex, professions, kids, marriage, divorce, and the never-ending quest to be young, fit, and seductive replaced the decadent Swedish Sin?
Ella Lemhagen directs the eight-part comedy, which was written and created by Frans Milisic Wiklund in collaboration with Anna Kalmér, Julia Dufvenius, Sofia Helin, and Anja Lundqvist. Sandra Harms and Karl Fredrik Ulfung of Miso Film Sverige AB are producing the series for HBO Max. Christian Wikander and Camilla Curtis serve as executive producers for HBO Max.
LUST will premiere in its entirety on all HBO Max platforms on March 18 in 61 countries, including the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
