NBC is set to host the 49th annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, starting Friday, July 4, 2025, at 8 PM ET. This yearly event will deliver a display of pyrotechnics and patriotic cheer, with Ariana DeBose taking on hosting duties.
The broadcast will combine fireworks with musical numbers and appearances by a range of guests. This year’s display promises more than 80,000 shells, bursting into 30 distinct colors. The area above the Brooklyn Bridge will also become a canvas for advanced projection mapping, adding a visual treat for onlookers.
The event will give a nod to the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. There will also be a moment to celebrate the NBA’s return to NBC this Fall, marking a new chapter for sports broadcasts on the network. Billed as America’s largest and most iconic fireworks display, the production looks to deliver moments that will awe.
