Jean and Dom’s first holiday together takes an unexpectedly dark turn in this week’s “The Madame Blanc Mysteries.” Trading the familiar French antiques scene for the sunny shores of Malta, the duo finds themselves entangled in a web of intrigue, theft, and potential murder.
Invited to Malta by a local couple to authenticate the original blueprints of Valletta, supposedly designed by Jean de Valette himself, Jean and Dom’s trip gets off to a rocky start. Upon arrival at the Malta airport, they witness two figures fleeing from the couple’s car. The discovery of Margot, one half of the Maltese couple, injured and attacked, sets off a chain of events that transforms a relaxing getaway into a high-stakes investigation.
Adding to the chaos, Trevor, borrowing Dom’s car, manages to hit a young woman, leaving him panicked about potential lawsuits and confessing his lack of insurance to Gloria who then seeks advice from Caron about a potential crash-for-cash scam. Back on the case, Jean and Dom meet with Inspector Agius, digging further into the mystery of the stolen blueprints. The “Madame Blanc Mysteries” airs Thursday, April 10th at 9:00 PM on 5.
