Murder and antiques collide once again in the picturesque village of Saint Victoire. “The Madame Blanc Mysteries” returns with a new case this Thursday, and as usual, Jean White finds herself at the center of the intrigue. In “Inheritance,” a seemingly accidental death at the Brodeur and White antiques shop quickly spirals into a full-blown murder investigation.
When Charlie’s Aunt Fifi is found poisoned, the scene is initially staged to look like an unfortunate mishap. But Jean, with her keen eye for detail, suspects foul play. Fifi’s death takes on a new significance when it’s revealed that she owned a valuable collection of antiques and collectibles, potentially making Charlie an heir. Suddenly, the list of suspects grows.
Jean turns her attention to Fifi’s complicated relationship with her half-sister, Ines, and Ines’s husband, Alan. Could a family feud over inheritance be the motive for murder? Meanwhile, back at the shop, Judith and Jeremy are left in charge of Gloria’s dog, Douglas, while she’s at A&E dealing with an unusual detergent/bleach incident, so expect some canine chaos.
“The Madame Blanc Mysteries: Inheritance” airs Thursday, March 27th at 9:00 pm on Channel 5.
