The Madame Blanc Mysteries returns to Acorn TV on Monday, July 7, 2025, with a two-episode premiere that wastes no time throwing Jean White back into danger, deception, and romantic complication.
Now in its fourth season, the crime drama remains one of the streamer’s most consistent performers across the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Sally Lindsay, who also created and co-writes the series, once again leads as Jean, the antiques dealer-turned-sleuth navigating Sainte Victoire’s endless stream of suspicious deaths and peculiar locals.
This season picks up with Jean deepening her connection to assistant Dom Hayes, played by Steve Edge. Their professional partnership gets tested as emotional stakes rise and new secrets emerge. Meanwhile, the murders keep coming.
The setting remains packed with returning characters. Sue Vincent resumes her role as Gloria Beaushaw, alongside Robin Askwith and Sue Holderness as village fixtures Jeremy and Judith. Alex Gaumond is back as the town’s weary police chief André Caron.
New faces this season include Tony Robinson as Dom’s scheming Uncle Patrick, now posing as a legitimate pub owner, and Paul Chuckle as Gloria’s dad Trevor. Both characters bring fresh storylines and added friction to the already crowded village dynamic.
Directed by Dermot Boyd and produced by Jake Rollins, the series continues under the banner of Clapperboard and Saffron Cherry, with executive producers Mike Benson, Andy Morgan, Sally Lindsay, and Caroline Roberts-Cherry steering the production.
Episodes will stream weekly after the double premiere, continuing Acorn’s Monday release rhythm. With a strong ensemble and tightly structured mysteries, The Madame Blanc Mysteries remains a reliable draw for fans of light procedural drama with a sharp edge.
