The Madame Blanc Mysteries is back in business. Acorn TV has locked in a Monday, July 7 premiere for the show’s fourth season, rolling out with a two-episode drop across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Sally Lindsay returns as antiques dealer–turned–reluctant sleuth Jean White in the British-French mystery series she also co-created. Season 4 picks up in the sun-soaked village of Sainte Victoire, where Jean juggles a budding romance with Dom Hayes (Steve Edge) while facing a fresh batch of offbeat cases—including a murdered puppeteer, a missing CEO, and a suspicious late-night attack on a local watchman.
The new season will run seven episodes. The series remains a co-production between Clapperboard and Saffron Cherry, with Mike Benson and Andy Morgan executive producing for Clapperboard, and Lindsay and Caroline Roberts-Cherry for Saffron Cherry. Dermot Boyd directs, and Jake Rollins produces.
Also back this season: Sue Vincent as Gloria, Robin Askwith and Sue Holderness as village eccentrics Jeremy and Judith, Alex Gaumond as Chief Caron, Tony Robinson as Uncle Patrick, and Paul Chuckle as Trevor.
The Madame Blanc Mysteries continues to be a dependable performer for Acorn TV, pairing cozy crime with strong cast chemistry and international appeal.
