Magnolia Network Announces Streaming Premiere Dates for Family-Friendly Lineup

Magnolia Network has announced the streaming premiere dates for its upcoming family-friendly unscripted programming on Max. Executive produced by Chip and Joanna Gaines, the new series include Roller Jam, Human vs. Hamster, and Second Chance Stage, set to debut in October and November.

Roller Jam

Premieres 10 October on Max, with a new episode dropping weekly; the finale premieres 14 November. Produced by Nikki Boella and Brian Lando, Roller Jam is a six-episode competition series featuring the top roller-skating crews in the country. Hosted by Jordin Sparks, with Johnny Weir and Terrell Ferguson as judges, each episode sees skate teams performing for a celebrity guest judge, vying for a $150,000 cash prize.

Human vs. Hamster

Premieres 21 November on Max, with all eight episodes dropping simultaneously. Produced by A. Smith and Co., Human vs. Hamster is an eight-episode competition series pitting remarkable pet hamsters against teams of humans in scaled challenges to determine the superior species. Hosted by Sarah Sherman, with Kyle Brandt and Brian Balthazar as the resident hamster enthusiast.

Second Chance Stage

Premieres 28 November on Max, with two episodes dropping weekly; the finale premieres 19 December. Filmed in Kansas City, Second Chance Stage is an eight-episode talent competition series produced by Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation. With Martina McBride, Taye Diggs, and Heidi Gardner as judges and Emmanuel Acho as host, contestants are offered a second chance to pursue their dreams in various performance categories.
