Disney+ is resurrecting the iconic sitcom Malcolm in the Middle almost 25 years after its debut. The dysfunctional family comedy will return with a limited four-episode series featuring the original cast, including Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, and Jane Kaczmarek as Lois.

The revival centers around Malcolm’s daughter being pulled back into the familiar family chaos for Hal and Lois’ 40th-anniversary party. Original series creator Linwood Boomer will write and executive produce, with frequent Malcolm director Ken Kwapis at the helm for all four episodes.
