Mary Berry's Highland Christmas Set for BBC One This Festive Period

BBC Factual has announced that Dame Mary Berry will be hosting a 1×60′ Christmas Special called “Mary Berry’s Highland Christmas” for BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The special, produced by Rumpus Media, will see Mary Berry traveling to Scotland, her mother’s homeland, for a magical winter break in the Highlands.

During the special, Mary will be cooking up indulgent dishes that can be enjoyed throughout the festive season. Viewers will have the opportunity to recreate Mary’s favorite Christmas dishes, as well as traditional Scottish recipes, including a Cranachan wreath, cheese fondue, and Buche de Noel.

This Christmas special holds special significance for Mary as she will be spending it in her mother’s homeland. Throughout the show, Mary will reflect on her Scottish heritage and share fascinating anecdotes about her roots. She will be joined by special guests who will make this Christmas a memorable one.

From her cozy winter retreat, Mary will not only be cooking delicious seasonal dishes but also embarking on magical days out with friends. Activities will include reindeer herding, Christmas caroling, and a traditional ceilidh. In addition to the festive fun, the show will be packed with Mary’s hints and hacks for the busy Christmas period. She will share tips on how to impress guests with minimal effort, make a feast go further, and showcase her simple kitchen tricks.
