“The Masked Singer” is throwing it back to the era of frosted tips and synchronized dance moves with a “Boy Band Night” special this Wednesday. The episode will celebrate over five decades of boy band music, spanning from the bubblegum pop of the early days to the more mature sounds of later groups.
The masked contestants will tackle boy band classics like “Tearin’ Up My Heart,” “Poison,” “Step By Step,” and “I Swear,” offering their own interpretations of these iconic hits. Adding to the fun, former “Masked Singer” contestants Chris Kirkpatrick (the Hummingbird) and Omarion (the Yeti) will make appearances, dropping additional clues about the current crop of disguised singers.
As always, host Nick Cannon will preside over the festivities, while panelists Ken Jeong, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg try to decipher the performances and guess the identities of the masked celebrities. One singer will be unmasked at the end of the night, ending their “Masked Singer” run. Find out who on Wednesday, April 2 at 8:00 PM EST on FOX.
