The Masked Singer: “Quarter Finals: Merging of the Masks” (FOX, Wednesday, December 4, 2024)

The Masked Singer Key Art

So, we’re down to the final four on The Masked Singer, and things are about to get weird. “Merging of the Masks,” airing Wednesday, December 4 on FOX, isn’t just some random theme; it’s the quarter-finals, folks. The pressure’s on, the clues are (supposedly) more revealing, and one poor soul is going home mask-less.

This week, the remaining mystery singers will tackle some karaoke staples, including The Chainsmokers’ “Closer,” Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris,” and Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One.” Oh, and someone thought it was a good idea to include Yung Kook’s “Standing Next to You.” We’ll see how that goes. The real intrigue, however, centers on the “merging” aspect. Apparently, this is the first time the group champions are together, which I guess means we can expect some kind of clue-a-palooza. They’ll be sharing hints, dropping tidbits, and generally trying to confuse the panel.

Speaking of the panel, our usual suspects – Ken Jeong, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg – are back, along with host Nick Cannon, who will undoubtedly rock another sequined blazer. Let’s hope for insightful deductions and less of the usual chaotic guessing.
