BBC One’s MasterChef returns for its fourteenth episode of the twentieth series this Thursday, 2 May 2024, at 9 pm. In this instalment, five comeback contestants from previous series will compete once more for a chance to advance to the quarter-finals.
The episode begins with a challenging task set by John Torode and Gregg Wallace: creating two outstanding dishes, a main course and a dessert, in one hour and 45 minutes. The contestants must showcase their creativity and culinary skills to impress the judges and avoid elimination.
Next, the contestants must design a dish they would serve from a food truck, aiming to create a street food gem that will excite social media and attract queues. Their creations will be judged by MasterChef: The Professionals 2019 champion, Stuart Deeley, who is known for his unique and flavourful dishes.
As the competition intensifies, only three contestants will secure a place in the quarter-finals, moving one step closer to realising their dream of becoming MasterChef champion 2024.
