Matildas Chloe Logarzo and Emily Gielnik Eliminated from The Amazing Race Australia Celebrity Edition

Matildas teammates Chloe Logarzo and Emily Gielnik were eliminated in the seventh leg of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition on Sunday evening. The duo, aiming to be the first all-female team to win, faced setbacks, including a crucial mistake involving Emily’s misplaced bumbag. Despite their competitive spirits, the time lost due to the error ended their journey in Namibia.

In this leg, teams traversed the Namib desert, tackling challenges like scaling sand dunes and kayaking among seals at Pelican Point. A Detour gave teams the choice of scaling a sand dune or driving through the dunes, and later tasks included learning traditional Namibian practices and translating a shopping list in a local language. Though Chloe and Emily initially led the pack, their mistake of leaving the bumbag behind cost them valuable time.

The pair raced to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and while they didn’t win the prize for their charity, they were proud to raise awareness for the cause. Both expressed the personal significance of the foundation, as Chloe’s mother-in-law and Nonna are breast cancer survivors.

The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition continues tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 10.
