The Bakers are back for a third series, exploring exceptional sights in the north of England with a new addition to the family: Archie, the puppy. In the season three premiere, the family attends the Northumberland County Show, north-east England’s biggest annual celebration of the countryside.
Matt, Janice, Mike, and Archie go behind the scenes of the massive event, helping prepare award-winning animals for their moment in the spotlight. Janice enters Archie and their cockerel, Stanley, into two of the show’s categories. The family also visits Corbridge, a stunning historical site just a stone’s throw from the showground, which was once the most northerly town in the Roman Empire.
