On Monday night’s episode of Matt Baker: Travels with Mum & Dad, the intrepid trio are exploring the Yorkshire Wolds along with the furry new addition to the family: Archie the puppy.
The Bakers kick off their adventure at Bempton Cliffs, where they search for the vibrant and elusive puffins that Mike has always dreamed of seeing. Leaving the cliffs behind, they venture inland to the Sledmere Estate, a place steeped in farming history and home to rare breed animals, magnificent gardens, and the fascinating story of Wolds wagons and the locals who played a crucial role during World War I.
The trio then heads to the seaside town of Filey, where they meet some of the country’s most talented kite flyers and marvel at their colorful creations dancing in the sky. Finally, Matt, Mike, and Janice trade the sea breeze for the tranquil canal ways outside Pocklington, where they discover one of the most pristine and peaceful ways to explore the Yorkshire Wolds.
