Max Irons, known for his role in Condor, has been cast alongside Hero Fiennes Tiffin in Guy Ritchie’s Prime Video series Young Sherlock. The show will explore the origins of the famous detective, with a focus on a younger, more raw version of Sherlock Holmes. Tiffin stars as a 19-year-old Holmes, who is unpolished and reckless as he investigates his first major case. The series also stars Dónal Finn, Joseph Fiennes, Natascha McElhone, Zine Tseng, and Colin Firth.

The plot follows Holmes as he becomes embroiled in a murder mystery at Oxford University that threatens his freedom. The series is based on Andy Lane’s book series and offers a reimagined, action-oriented take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary detective.
